On the
same day that Daniel Snyder, the owner of the Commanders, was criticized for
refusing an invitation to testify before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight
& Reform because he had his valuable yacht docket in France at a resort.
According to AJ Perez, the team executives uploaded an image that doesn't
really resemble with the culture of no-longer-Mad-Men that
the team now supports.
Per
Perez, a group of four executives of the Commanders uploaded a picture on
Facebook on a yacht in Cannes with the hashtags of #workwithprettypeople.
At
great, it is incredibly tone-deaf. At worst, it is another middle finger for
Congress at a time when Congress has Daniel Snyder to attest.
Either
way, it reduces the effort by the team to gain fans, and the media didn't
remember the way things were happening. Based on that picture, it is fair to
wonder whether the other things change the more they remain the same.
