    Thomas Party (quad), Emile Smith Rowe (groin), Mohamed Elneny (thigh), and Reiss Nelson are all out for Arsenal due to injuries (undisclosed)

    Diego Carlos (Achilles) is out for Aston Villa, while Matty Cash (hamstring) and Leander Dendoncker are questionable (illness)
