2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP)

2022 (WSOP) World Series of Poker continued for another week at Bally's/Paris on the Las Vegas Strip with more coveted WSOP gold bracelets. Let's see who these winners are and what they won this week at the 2022 WSOP.

Brian Hastings wins sixth WSOP bracelet in 2-7 Triple Draw.

Entering the final day of Event #31: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship, all eyes were on Phil Hellmuth as he tried to win his 16th WSOP bracelet. With Hellmuth knocked out in eighth place, attention turned to several players looking to add to their bracelet collection.

Shaun Deeb, Dan Zack, Marco Johnson, and Brian Hastings had won WSOP gold before, but Eric Wasserson and Jordan Siegel were looking to win their first. Waterson entered the final table as the chip leader, but his run ended in second place when he was beaten by Brian Hastings, who won his sixth WSOP bracelet and $292,146 in prize money for going over the field of 118 participants.

Steve Albini wins $1,500 horse for $196,089

The ever-popular Event #32: $1,500 HORSE attracted 773 participants. Jeff Lisandro, Barry Greenstein, John Monnette, Mike Matusow, Ari Engel, and Phil Ivey all finished in the money.

David Williams was eliminated during the final table bubble, but Steve Albini would win his second WSOP bracelet and $196,089 in prize money. Albini - a part-time poker player - is known to be a record producer and sound engineer, having worked with bands such as Nirvana and Jimmy Page.
