The 49ers may strengthen their receiving group.
The team is reportedly working out Willie Snead on Friday.
This week, Snead allegedly participated in a tryout with the Cardinals.
Last season, the veteran receiver played for the Raiders and the Panthers.
Before the organization dismissed him in late October, he played seven games for Las Vegas and caught three catches for 32 yards. He later joined Carolina's practice squad and made two appearances.
Snead caught 33 catches for Baltimore in 2020, gaining 432 yards and three scores.
Snead joined the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent with the Browns; at the time, the offensive coordinator for Cleveland was former 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, as David Lombardi of TheAthletic.com.
Since 2015, Snead has played in 95 games, starting 48 of them, and has 279 career receptions for 3,431 yards and 16 touchdowns. In 2016, he also gained 15 yards on three attempts and threw a 50-yard touchdown throw.
