Although Wade only averages 5.3 points per game and shoots 35.7% from three, he is a solid wing defender who has become a better floor spacer (sometimes setting picks and popping out). He is a two-way player who has worked hard and could surpass Isaac Okoro this season on the depth chart.
With Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley up front and Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell in the backcourt, the Cavaliers have four All-Stars who will surely start for them. The question at the three is still up in the air. This season, Wade has the opportunity to fill that position.
