Due to the injuries, Ravens defensive lineman Derek Wolfe missed all of last season and suffered from second hip surgery this year.
Derek Wolfe, who was 32 years old, shared on social media about surgery on Monday.
Derek Wolfe said, “Hey, people, I recovered from my second surgery of hip this year”. “Feeling all great, pretty drugged up. But, yeah, we are going to receive a full recovery here and try to live an ordinary life.”
In January, he suffered his first hip surgery.
Derek Wolfe came back once in November to practice after the designation was given to come back from an injured reserve with back and hip injuries.
$2 million is his completely guaranteed base salary for the year 2022 and is planned to count as $3.8 million against the cap. Derek Wolfe is under an agreement through 2023.
Derek Wolfe’s career includes 34 sacks and 350 tackles, and he has played a total of 10 seasons.
