    Formula 1 World Championship 


    This is how the positions of drivers and constructors of the Formula 1 World Championship are after the last Grand Prix. Follow the evolutions of Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso.


    Max Verstappen gets the sixth victory out of a possible nine this season, which places him even more in the lead, especially considering that his closest rival, his teammate, was unable to cross the finish line due to a mechanical problem, leaving him behind. 46 points. 


    Leclerc is almost two races apart, at 49 points. Sainz closes in on George Russell, remaining nine points behind. Fernando Alonso continues adding and is already tenth in the standings, but far from Esteban Ocon.

    Formula 1 2022 season will consist of a total of 22 races.


    Bahrain Grand Prix 


    Charles Leclerc took the first win of the year ahead of Carlos Sainz in a one-two for Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton completed the podium after the two Red Bulls retired in the final laps with reliability problems. Alonso crosses the finish line in the ninth position. The fifth place of the late returnee Kevin Magnussen stands out.



    Saudi Arabian Grand Prix


    Max Verstappen wins a vibrant duel against Charles Leclerc with numerous overtaking. Carlos Sainz completes the podium, gaining the position of a very unlucky Sergio Perez with the safety car. He highlights the tenth position of a Lewis Hamilton without rhythm and with a disastrous strategy. Fernando Alonso finished the race after suffering problems with the water pump.


    Australian Grand Prix


    Crushing victory for Charles Leclerc, who was not bothered by anyone at any time. Sergio Perez crosses the finish line in the second position, just ahead of George Russell, who gets his first podium with Mercedes. Fernando Alonso tried an extreme strategy that did not work, crossing the finish line in the seventeenth position. Carlos Sainz made a driving error in the first laps of the Grand Prix, adding his first retirement with Ferrari.
