Nelly Korda started Saturday's round three shots at the Evian Championship behind Brooke Henderson.

She will start round six from the back.

In an effort to win her second major championship, the No. 3 player in the world began the Evian Championship with a score of 64-67. However, after shooting an even-par 71 on Sunday, which dropped the 23-year-old to T-6, Korda now has her work cut out.

After Round 3, Korda, currently at 11 under par, stated, "A bit disappointing, honestly." "I didn't strike it all that hard. didn't put all that well. Overall, a bit of a letdown, but here and there made some pretty good stops."

Through 11 holes, the Floridan was two over par. Later, on hole 12, Korda made a birdie to maintain his lead. She was noticeably upset after her tee shot on hole No. 15 fell in the rough, but she scored a par. She nearly aced the par-3 16th hole on her way to a birdie, but she then made a bogey on hole 17. On hole 18, she had an eagle opportunity, but her putt missed to the left.

She added that I was above par for the day, so just getting back to even was my objective. I made an effort to get one or two birds to land.

When I approached the green, I did not anticipate finding my ball.

"Evian is that. Golf is that. You must periodically roll with the punches."

Despite being given a blood clot diagnosis in her arm earlier this year, which kept her out of action for two months, Korda has finished in the top 10 in three of her last four competitions.

She assured the audience, "I'm making sure I'm remaining focused on making my recovery a top priority.

By doing this, Korda still has a chance to make a comeback in the final round at Evian, similar to Minjee Lee's from the previous year, when Lee overcame a seven-shot deficit to win.

What is Korda's strategy as she attempts to copy Lee?

She yelled, "Get my s*** together."

"Kidding. Sincerely, I'm just trying to be a little bit more aggressive and consistent from the tee. On the par-5s, a little more cautious rather than aggressive. Hopefully, some putts are made."
