Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets superstar, requested a trade just hours before free agency began, and there has been nothing to suggest a business is imminent. In fact, over the weekend, there was reported "pessimism" surrounding a deal for Durant to finish shortly.
Kevin Durant, the Nets are having a hard time finding other teams to help facilitate a trade, which, given the high asking price for a player of Durant's caliber, isn't entirely surprising.
There's always a chance Durant will throughout this process. Still, in some new information, the two-time champion also told Tsai that the Nets must choose between him and the tandem of head coach Steve Nash and general manager General Sean Marks for Charania.
Durant reportedly has "no faith" in the direction of the franchise, and with the request that he's now thrown out, every season Durant has played for them, it's surprising that he's essentially calling for Nash and Marks to be fired.
Especially when it comes to Nash, who Durant initially supported in the hiring process because of their time when Durant agreed, saying the workout could be a "collaborative effort" between Nash, Durant, Irving, and even assistant coach Jacque Vaughn.
