When Justin Watson signed a one-year, $1.035 million agreement with the Chiefs on Feb. 4, it was unnoticed. And that was before Tyreek Hill was traded to the Dolphins by the Chiefs.
Watson's first opportunity to play with the Chiefs, something he didn't get much of in Tampa. Last season, he only played 19 memorable unit snaps and none on offence since he spent most of the season recovering from a knee ailment.
In five seasons with the Buccaneers, Watson grabbed 23 passes for 258 yards passing veteran has played 461 offensive snaps and 666 special teams snap during his career.
On the other hand, Watson has struck up a friendship with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
