    Marcus Rashford scored twice

In a 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Sunday at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford scored twice. He provided an assist as Manchester United gave the Gunners their first Premier League defeat of the year.

Antony scored on his United debut for United, who have won four straight games to move up to the fifth position, three points behind first-place Arsenal and two behind cross-town rival Man City.

Arsenal scored a goal through Bukayo Saka, nearly double their season total of goals allowed.

What position did each player have individually?

Below are your player rankings for Manchester United vs. Arsenal, scaled from 1 to 10.

    Scores for Manchester United players

7 — David De Gea Had to make just one save, but it was successful, particularly while going long.

6 Tyrell Malacia had a Very solid day on the field. Still, his forward cheating and failure to refocus on Arsenal's lone goal, which was scored on Bukayo Saka's side of the field no less, are signs of his youth and inexperience. Because of what that error may have meant for another statement to win, his grade is what it is.

Lisandro Martinez (Off 80'): 6.5 – Early on, he gave away a risky free kick, but his tenacity is well-placed in the group.

8.5 for Raphael Varane was not excellent with the ball, but his defense was near-perfect. Both strong and intelligent.

Diogo Dalot: 7 — Was effective at the back but wasteful forward, like Varane

Scott McTominay: 7 – He dwindled significantly in the latter minutes but completed all 25 of his passes.

Christian Eriksen: 7.5 – The unit's captain made two crucial passes, one a beautiful long pass that set Marcus Rashford free.

Bruno Fernandes: 8 – A high-pressure game against the midfield of Arsenal and three crucial passes.

Jadon Sancho (Off 67'): 7 — Contributed to the first goal but eventually left the match.

Marcus Rashford (Off 80'): 9 — Made two successful field goals and two crucial passes, one of which set up Antony's first goal.

Antony (Off 58'): 8 – This guy should be entertaining. Everything is on display: panache, style, arrogance, and finish.

    Subs:

    (On 58') Cristiano Ronaldo: 6.5

    Fred (7 on 67')

    Harry Maguire (On '80') — n.d.

    N/A Casemiro (On 80')

Ranks of Arsenal players out of 10

Aaron Ramsdale: 6 – He made three saves and was effective with the ball.

5.5 Oleksandr Zinchenko (On 74') Despite looking rusty, he didn't handle the ball badly.

4.5 William Saliba — A day to forget since, on Sunday, fewer people were singing "Tequila" by The Champs. Double-fitting!

Gabriel Magalhaes: 6 — The strongest member of a struggling back line.

Ben White (Off 80'): 5.5 – Workmanlike, although occasionally outpaced for speed.

Albert Sambi Lokonga (On 74′): 5.5 – Good but not nearly at the level of the Thomas Party.

Granit Xhaka: 6.5 – The team's emotional thermometer and the best player outside the front four.

According to Martin Odegaard (On 74′), the maestro had four crucial passes: 7

Bukayo Saka: 7 — The elusive, technical star delivers more of the same.

8 — Gabriel Jesus What an actor. Eight drew fouls, five crucial passes, and 88% of the passing in the attacking half.

    Gabriel Martinelli: 6.5 — Had a well-placed goal disallowed.

    Subs:

    N/A Eddie Nketiah (On 74')

    Fabio Vieira (On 74′) — N/A

    N/A Emile Smith-Rowe (On 74')

    Takehiro Tomiyasu (On 80'): N/A
