    Results and points for the IMSA championship:


    With one race remaining in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, Wayne Taylor Racing won from pole position on Sunday at Road America and now has the lead in the DPi division.


    After teammate Ricky Taylor had a challenging middle stint when the rain started falling while his vehicle was in the lead. Still, on sticky tires, Filipe Albuquerque began to on the pole and took the victory in the No. 10 Acura.


    Taylor instructed the crew to give the vehicle to Albuquerque after stumbling back to the pits in seventh place.


    Taylor added, "I was trying to get by. "Honestly, I wasn't sure I was doing a good job. I recently witnessed that the men in wet suits had left. I said, "Put Filipe in," when they asked what we wanted to do at the following stop.

    Oliver Jarvis crashed the Meyer Shank Racing No. 60 Acura with 10 minutes left, and Albuquerque manoeuvred through traffic to overtake him and grab the lead with 24 to go.


    Albuquerque and Taylor won the race under a yellow flag, gaining the championship lead over Jarvis and co-driver Tom Blomqvist by 19 points. This was their fourth victory of the year and 49th overall.


    The Petit Le Mans at Michelin Road Atlanta on October 1 will mark the end of the DPi category's campaign.


    At Road America, the Cadillacs from Chip Ganassi Racing placed second and third overall.


    Other categories include


    GTD Pro: Vasser Sullivan won the sixth race of his career in the No. 14 Lexus driven by Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat. The team's second triumph at Road America is the first of the year.


    Philip Ellis and Russell Ward triumphed in the No. 57 Mercedes-AMG GT3 for Winward Racing, marking the team's second victory overall and first at Road America.


    LMP2: Era Motorsports' No. 18 with Ryan Dalziel and Dwight Merriman took first place, the team's first victory, and third overall.


    Felipe Fraga and Gar Robinson triumphed in LMP3Riley Motorsports' No. 74 team, driven by Felipe Fraga and Gar Robinson, winning the race, marking the team's 22nd triumph.
