    Oregon 2022

Oregon 2022 saw a record drop in the women's 100m at the World Championships in Athletics. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (Jamaica) soared across the track to take the gold medal with a time of 10.67, a new championship mark.

    Tenth gold in World Championships

The 35-year-old athlete added her tenth gold in World Championships and conquered the top 100 m for the fifth time in history (2009, 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2022). She also raised an impressive record of eight Olympic Games medals (three gold).

    Jamaicans Shericka Jackson

As if that were not enough, Jamaicans Shericka Jackson, and Elaine Thompson-Herah, completed the podium taking the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Jamaica made it 1-2-3.

Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith also made history despite finishing fourth. The British set a new national record with her 10.83.
