The Portland Trail Blazers stay focused on retooling on the fly around Damian Lillard. They are supposed to settle up and again sign Anfernee Simons this offseason, yet the entryway is completely open. Massive changes are coming to the Pacific Northwest.

On the Dunc'd on Podcast with Nate Duncan, Bleacher Reports' Jake Fischer tossed out three players that Lillard needs to play with, and the Trail Blazers are checking out: Deandre Ayton, OG Anunoby, and John Collins (cap tip Hoops Hype).

Ayton needs max cash. The Suns are reluctant to pay that much, yet different groups are supposed to make Ayton a maximum deal — Portland could be one since "it appears as though he's another person that Dame has an interest in playing with," Fischer said.

Is Ayton a fit with Lillard and the Blazers? He set up great numbers — 17.2 focuses and 10.2 bounce back a game this season — however, he was not steady, particularly in the end of the season games. Concerning, he's not a guarded plug in the paint, which Portland might require with Lillard at the point.

Ayton to Portland — or anyplace except Detriot- would need to be a sign-and-exchange, which would assist the Suns with recovering some incentive for losing their beginning community. Toronto gets referenced a great deal around the association as a potential Ayton landing spot.

Simon and Ayton make an athletic border in Portland, yet is that a sufficiently large job to satisfy  Anunoby.

Like Anunoby in Toronto, John Collins was disappointed with his job in Atlanta. Collins was referenced at the cutoff time; Collins was referenced in a few exchange bits of gossip s asking whether the cost was excessively steep for groups. "He's certainly been referenced as a Portland exchange competitor," Fischer said on the webcast. Collins would give edge security and physicality front and centre for the Trail Blazers.
