The Bills were the early favorites to win the Super Bowl this year. They have performed even better than anticipated after two games.
The Rams, the Super Bowl champion from the previous season, were Week One's opponent, while the Titans, the top seed in the AFC from the previous season, was Week Two's opponent.
So far, the most lopsided outcome of the NFL season was the 41-7 thrashing of the Titans by the Bills on Monday Night Football, while the Bills' 31-10 victory over the Rams in the season opener on Thursday night was the fourth-largest margin of victory so far. No other team has outscored its opponent by even half as many points as the Buffalo Bills this season, who has the best total point difference in the NFL at 55. (The Chiefs and Buccaneers, who have a combined point differential of 26 points after two games, are in second place.)
The remaining games on Buffalo's schedule do not get any easier in the upcoming weeks. They include Sunday Night Football games against the Packers and away games against Miami and Baltimore. The Bills still have many more important games to play, but they already appear more capable.
