    The Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is still dealing with a legal dilemma that has never been seen before and has the potential to turn into a full-blown mess.


    FBI has questioned him


    The Mississippi welfare money controversy continues to include Favre. It has also advanced to a new level. According to NBC News, Favre's attorney claims that the FBI has questioned him.

    Federal welfare monies totalling $1.1 million were given to Favre for allegedly free speech speaking appearances. Even though he argued that he did nothing wrong, he ultimately returned the money. For interest on the money he had received, he was sued.


    No crimes have been levelled against Favre. However, being questioned by the FBI is never ideal.

    When Brad Pigott was attempting to learn more about the scandal's ties to Favre and former Mississippi governor Phil Bryant throughout the summer, Mississippi fired him.


    Bennie Thompson of Mississippi 


    Additionally, Bennie Thompson of Mississippi wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland this month to ask him to direct the Department of Justice's attention to Favre and Bryant.
