Keelan Cole
Keelan Cole, a receiver, has been added to the 53-man roster of the Raiders, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Cole used to be a member of the practice squad. DJ Turner, a receiver put on injured reserve, is replaced by him.
When the team's roster was trimmed to 53 players in June, Cole was released from his contract with Las Vegas. Last Monday, he re-signed with the Raiders practice squad.
Cole caught 28 catches
Cole caught 28 catches for the Jets last season for 449 yards and a touchdown. He has totaled 79 games, including 34 starts, and has caught 187 receptions for 2,691 yards and 13 touchdowns.
The Raiders have also signed some seasoned players to their practice squad due to injury concerns at cornerback and center. They hired center Billy Price and cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman.
15 games for Philadelphia in 2020
Last season, Robey-Coleman spent time with Detroit and made one game appearance. He made seven starts in 15 games for Philadelphia in 2020.
Last year, Price started 15 games for the Giants. He was the 21st overall choice of the Bengals in the 2018 draught.
