The Buccaneers won 19-3
Tom Brady, the quarterback of the Buccaneers, is frequently the focus of attention on the football field, but on Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, he mostly played in the background.
The Buccaneers won 19-3 because of 127 yards of rushing from Leonard Fournette and two sacks from Devin White, who also commanded the defense. Brady completed five drives in the first half that resulted in field goal attempts after failing to convert on third downs, was intercepted once, and fired a touchdown pass to Mike Evans in the second half.
Following the game, Brady stated that having a solid run game and defense "will win you a lot of games" before changing his tune to emphasize the need for an improved offensive effort.

According to Greg Auman of TheAthletic.com, Brady stated, "I believe the defense played fantastic." We can perform a lot better offensively tonight, in my opinion. Ultimately, we'll have to. We'll need to score in the danger zone. We'll need to maintain our health. We'll need to return to work, regain some of the regular-season flow, and just put these days together to see if we can get better.
Next weekend's home game against the Saints would be a terrific opportunity for the offense to get going because Brady hasn't defeated New Orleans in a regular-season game since moving to Tampa.
